The Tufts Financial Network (TFN) engages more than 3,500 Tufts alumni, parents and friends worldwide who work in the area of financial services, including investment and commercial banking, hedge funds, asset management, trading, corporate finance, private equity, venture capital, real estate and other related fields. Created in concert with an alumni-led Advisory Committee, the network comprises a broad range of finance professionals, from seasoned managers to entry-level employees, and from hedge fund managers to private investment professionals.
The chief aims of the network are to:
- Provide networking opportunities to its members
- Connect members with leaders in the field among the Tufts faculty and industry experts
- Assist students pursuing careers in finance
- Find ways to actively support the mission of the university
TFN leverages the university’s significant intellectual resources and convening power to offer tailored programs and services in key financial centers around the world. Since its establishment in 2008, speakers have included Jamie Dimon, A78, CEO of JPMorgan Chase; Jeff Kindler, A77, A11P, former CEO of Pfizer; Ellen Kullman, E78, A12P, former Chair and CEO of DuPont; Jonathan Tisch, A76, Chair and CEO of Loews Hotels; and many other distinguished professionals from the fields of finance, business and real estate.
