On March 5, 2014, the Tufts Financial Network hosted its first event of the 2014 Speaker Series, titled “21st Century Security and its Impact on the Global Economy.” The event was held at the Grand Hyatt in New York and featured remarks from James Stavridis, former U.S. Navy Admiral and current Dean of the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
Dean Stavridis rose to the rank of 4-star admiral during his 30 years where he served as the 16th SupremeAllied Commander at NATO. At the New York event, Dean Stavridis spoke on subjects related to today’s global economy and its relationship to international conflict to a group of more than 250 alumni, parents and friends.
